CASE : Diameter 44mm CASE LENGTH : 52mm LUG WIDTH : 24mm THICKNESS : 16mm MOVEMENT : ETA2892-A2 CRYSTAL : See-through 2.9mm tinted grey sapphire crystal at the back / Double curved sapphire crystal on top 4.4mm thick with anti-reflecting treatment BUCKLE : Bronze CuSn8 tongue DETAILS The Andersmann Bronze 1000m 44mm (ANN0931) case is constructed from the bronze alloy CuSn8, which blends copper and tin in their pure states, both are structurally strong and highly corrosion-resistant. Bronze, historically associated with ships, diving equipment, and various nautical pursuits, has developed a growing fan base in the watch-collector community for its warm, gold-like tone and its tendency to develop a unique patina from exposure to air, humidity, heat and wear rendering each watch individual to its owner and his or her experiences. The rotating dive-scale bezel, also made of bronze, which harmonizes with the brown dial and brown rubber strap for a very unified overall look. Under the nonreflective sapphire crystal, hosted a œscratched dial. Each dial is individually scratched. So each piece is different. The sandwich dial also hosts luminous applied numerals and hour markers. Another grey tinted sapphire crystal is fitted into the caseback, which is made of titanium rather than bronze the former being comfortable against the skin due to its non-allergenic properties, the latter less ideal because of its tendency to oxidize and develop patina as described above. Beating in full view beneath that exhibition caseback is ETA2892-A2 movement with storing power reserve of 42 hours. Each watch comes with a FKM rubber strap with a bronze buckle (FKM is both more resistant to heat and chemicals than standard rubber).
