A-2 Auto Prototype-Founder Edition Limited to 10
Price Tier N/A
So, I am now making the follow up to the A-1 Auto, which is called A-2 Auto. This watch has the same movement as the A-1 Auto, Seiko Instruments NH 36, and the mod-ability is also as high as the A-1. But it's a very different watch. *Please note that the prototype might have some small differences from these images. The Founder Edition will not have a dedicated package. The mass production versions price might be different from the Founder Edition.* *The prototypes are estimated to be shipped around mid July 2023* - The Founder Edition - (above image is of the A-1's second prototype) And I need to fund some money as I have to make new molds for making this unique watch. I will be taking pre-orders for the special limited Founder Edition which you will be receiving one of the 10 first prototypes of the A-2. And of course these will be serial numbered! The serial numbers will be engraved on the stainless steel part outside of the case back crystal. Prototypes will be made in approximately 30 to 40 days from the prototype order. - A-2 Auto, Symmetrical Watch - With A-2 Auto, While the basic design principle is kept the same -the crown will never hit the back of my hand-, I made it more symmetrical. It will now allow people who wear watches on the right wrist wear it as comfortably as the ones who wear it on the other wrist. Also making it symmetrical would bring a good contrast between the A-1 and the A-2. - Not Just Another A-1 - *The "A" logo will be white in the light, and lumed* But I thought making the case symmetrical is not enough reason to justify a making of another watch. But to bring something different. Which are the minute markers, and the vertical day-date. There might be no need for markers in every minute, especially for a movement that has an accuracy of -20 ~ +40 seconds. But then again, if someone would like to count something for a few dozens of seconds, it would be useful. - Vertical Day-Date - Another difference is the vertical day-date. I
