I then looked at dive watches but most of them had larger cases than I wanted. I settled on the blue version of the Parma 2. The dial gives off a nice glimmer in the sunlight. The 43mm case is a great medium-large size. Out of the box, this Japanese Seiko movement was gaining about 12 seconds per day. The accuracy has since stabilized to about +4 seconds per day. The NH35 movement is a workhorse with a reputation of great durability. I prefer a sapphire crystal but it's not a deal-breaker. For the price I paid for the watch I can easily update the crystal if it ever gets scratched. In my area, I can get a sapphire crystal installed for about 75 USD. It's a heavy watch but switching to a silicone band cut the weight in half and it still looks classy. No date gives it a clean look.
