ARC II — D'Arc Matter Hornet Yellow
Price Tier N/A
Introducing the Arcanaut Arc II — D'Arc Matter Hornet Yellow . By feeding Scandinavian slate through an industrial coffee grinder and mixing the resulting powder with an ultra-clear UV-resistant binding agent, James Thompson, AKA The Black Badger, was able to create the D'Arc Matter composite material first seen in Arcanaut's 2021 D'Arc Matter Limited Edition release. Now, that same material returns with our new stainless steel "Grand Paw" handset (laser-cut and hand-finished in Denmark), and colourful, 3D Lumicast elements, developed by our Swiss partners RC Tritec. Housed in a 316L stainless steel case CNC-milled and assembled in Copenhagen, the Arcanaut Arc II — D'Arc Matter Hornet Yellow has a matte micro bead blasted finish, with brushed and hand-polished highlights applied in-house by our Danish watchmakers. The case features Arcanaut's signature "Pentablock" crown, the shape of which follows the form of the Arc case perfectly. Powered by the Swiss-made automatic Soprod M100, the Arcanaut Arc II — D'Arc Matter Hornet Yellow has an operating frequency of 28,800vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. The DArc Matter Hornet Yellow will only be produced in small annual batches and is available from Arcanaut directly and the brand's trusted retail partners. All of our watches in the Composites collection are powered by Swiss-made automatic movements by Soprod, which are regulated in-house by our watchmakers in Copenhagen. Learn more
