Take the Bernhardt Tempest — with its signature sun-and-moon subdial that completes one full rotation each day — and retool the display as a 24-hour military time indicator . Also, refinish the subdial in deep purple with white printing Also, do all the work in-house, in the United States . So we did. The result is a watch that feels unmistakably Bernhardt, but with Rampart Studios artistic fingerprint. These pieces were a labor of love, and were genuinely thrilled with how they turned out. We couldnt decide whether the watch looked better on steel or suede, so we decided not to choose. Each one ships with both steel and suede bracelets.
