Commonly known as the General Purpose Quartz (GPQ), these field watches are manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-46374G, Type II, Class 1. Housed in a lightweight composite fibreshell case, GPQ watches are powered by a Swiss-made, 3-Jewel, high-torque quartz movement with an end-of-life (EOL) indicator that signals when the battery is nearing the end of its service life.
