This watch is a minimalist homage to summer, to leisure, and to those suspended moments when time seems to slow in the gentle warmth of sunlit days. I designed it while reminiscing about my childhood vacations in Sanary-sur-Mer, France, surrounded by my cousins. It was a simpler era, filled with sandcastles, dives into the waves, and picnics on the beach. La Playa is intentionally playful and nostalgic, a tender nod to that carefree freedom only summer can offer. Its clean, bright design is made for those who still marvel at the sound of cicadas or a sky turning pink at the end of the day. Beneath the artful dial beats a Japanese-assembled Seiko Instruments PC39 quartz movement with a day/night indicator , offering both precision and a touch of poetry. The watch measures 38 mm in diameter , with a slim 9 mm profile and a comfortable 43 mm lug-to-lug , making it a perfect fit for most wrists. The dial and hands feature Swiss BGW9 lume for excellent nighttime legibility, while a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating keeps the view crisp and scratch-free. The genuine suede leather strap offers a soft, premium feel, and for a bolder look, a free silicone strap is also included .
