Solar Compass Navigation System The Ocean Navigator's internal rotating bezel isn't just for looks—it's a fully functional solar compass designed to help you determine cardinal directions when traditional navigation tools aren't available. Using the solar compass is simple: Point the watch's hour hand directly toward the sun . Rotate the internal compass bezel using the 10 o'clock crown. Align the appropriate hemisphere marker with the hour hand: Orange marker for the Northern Hemisphere White marker for the Southern Hemisphere The compass bezel will then indicate the cardinal directions.
