Popeye is recast in a desert setting, and a camel has taken the place of his famous boat: he is dressed like a pirate against the backdrop of a starry night sky with a crescent moon. A rich and deep blue evokes the vast skies one may find in wide deserts. It is a creative interpretation of the concept of travelling across many eras and places in addition to paying homage to the characters spirit of adventure and boldness. Powered by the caliber RSV-240, a proprietary patented three-complication module coupled to a manufacture movement (LJP-G100 base), combining retrograde minute, jumping hour and a 56-Hour power reserve. Each numbered model is presented in a white wooden box adorned with an image of The Popeye Family (© 2022 King Features Syndicate ™ Hearst Holdings, Inc.) with a special embroidery in honor of the comic strip Popeye.
