The Alterum story starts with a lesson in simplicity designing less, cutting away the chaos. The result is a fresh, original-looking watch the Alterum Worldtimer which won the inaugural Dubai Watch Week × Grail Watch competition in 2024. Its calling card lies in a pared-back dial that does away with conventional hands. Following the sold-out edition of the Alterum Worldtimer and our New York and LA editions, our fourth and final iteration the Alterum Worldtimer Horizon completes the quartet with a pure white dial. œSingapore is highlighted in red on the city disk, an intentional detail created to honor the partnership and collaboration between Revolution and Alterum. As in earlier editions, there are no hands on the dial. Instead, time is told via four concentric disks: the innermost dial tracks minutes; the next tracks hours and the following displays the 24-hour time with a day/night indicator. The outermost disk features 24 cities that allow wearers to easily track each time zone. Keep going past the dial, and you'll notice a stepped bezel that completes the circular motif that runs throughout the Worldtimer. Two crowns sit at 2 and 4 o™clock, slightly recessed into the case and bearing a white line and the Alterum logo respectively. The former lets you set the bidirectional city disk while the latter winds the watch and sets the time. Both case and bracelet are vapor-blasted for a softer, more contemporary finish.
