Five years on from our iconic first collaboration with Sinn, we're proud to announce the SINN 155 S Bright Star TEGIMENT® (155 S Revolution II), the first fully black version of this watch ever to see the light of day, and that's just the start. Before we find out what makes this particular version of the 155 S special, here is a quick primer on why the model itself is legendary. The 155 Bundeswehr chronograph was made for the West German Federal Defence Force from 1967 onwards, and in the 1980s, Helmut Sinn began selling decommissioned Bundeswehr watches under the Sinn name. These watches feature an incredibly legible twin register dial layout with military numerals and a bi-directional pilot's bezel. With this limited edition, this core design is unchanged, but we™ve made it tougher. Not only is the crystal sapphire for the first time on this model, but the case has been fully Tegimented, Sinn's proprietary case hardening technology that increases the surface hardness and scratch resistance of the steel five fold. On top of that, the 43mm case has been given an all-black makeover.
