The name Ichigo (いちご / 苺), meaning strawberry in Japanese 🍓, comes naturally. The deep burgundy tone of the bezel makes the connection unmistakable. Fittingly, the piece was commissioned in spring a season where strawberries hold a special place in Japan. Ichigo and spring align effortlessly, symbolizing sweetness, renewal, and new beginnings.
