As I created this watch, I kept coming back to the balance between its beautifully aged dial, distressed bezel, and striking orange lightning seconds hand. Each element complements the others perfectly, creating a vintage aesthetic that's both bold and cohesive. To complete the look, I paired them with a hand-patinated case and bracelet, giving the entire watch the character and warmth of a timepiece that has been worn and appreciated for decades. The watch is inspired by the vintage dive watches made famous during the 1950s–70s, a time when striking colors were a defining feature. During this golden era of watchmaking, dive watches were crafted for both function and flair, with every color and design element carefully chosen for utility as well as style. That was the goal I had when crafting this timepiece.
