What makes the Boston 019 unique: Waltham Watch Company was founded in Waltham, Massachusetts in 1850 and manufactured about 40 million timepieces in its roughly 100-year existence. During that century, the company underwent several name changes, including titles such as the American Horologe Company, the Boston Watch Company, and the American Waltham Watch Company. The 1908 pocket watch we've converted into the Boston 019 is double-signed with the abbreviations of both Waltham and the American Waltham Watch Companies. A pristine white double-sunk dial with slender Roman Numerals and red five-minute figures is accented by blued steel fine spade hands. Just as impressive as the front is the highly decorated 17-jewel movement that has been fully restored by our watchmakers. We finished this piece with our stainless steel case, titanium crown, and tobacco leather strap for a look of timeless sophistication.
