What makes the Boston 425 unique: Today, we are excited to introduce this exquisite piece from the American Waltham Watch Company — the Boston 425. Originally manufactured in 1908 by Waltham, the Boston 425 features a classic watch dial, bold type numbers, and an open-face back, revealing the intricate, stainless steel gears with gold and bronze details. The colorless dial complements the bold type numbers stupendously, and the hand on the subdial resembles a 3-leaf clover pinwheel. Powered by 17 jewels, our Machined Titanium case adorns this Ruby-grade timepiece with an incredibly durable and scratch-resistant coating. Lastly, our Black leather strap brings unity to this remarkable timepiece. This watch was originally produced in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1908 — the same year that the 1st American horror movie silent film Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde premiered in Chicago. The writer, Robert Louis Stevenson, was said to have written it while taking medically prescribed doses of cocaine to treat his hemorrhage.
