A favourite from our original lineup of Model 2 Fumé dials, the lighter hue of this Japanese enamel results in a vibrant tonal gradation from the bright blue centre out to a resonant indigo edge. The silver dial blank is stamped to have a domed top, which allows the enamel to have greater depth – and therefore depth of colour – around the outer edge. We developed the technique after noticing a gradient effect in a dial that had accidentally been warped in the kiln.
